British Heather Honey
Unpasteurised Heather Honey 240g
British heather honey is a rare, prized artisan honey known for its deep amber-red color, gelatinous texture, and bold, smoky-sweet flavour. Often called the "British Manuka," it captures the wild essence of late-summer British moorlands.

Bold and earthy with complex notes of malt, warm caramel, and aromatic moorland herbs.
Finish:
A strong, pleasant, slightly bitter or peaty aftertaste that lingers on the palate.
Aroma:
Intensely floral, woody, and reminiscent of damp peat and blossoming heather.
Source:
Foraged primarily from Calluna vulgaris (ling heather) on the rugged upland moors of Scotland, Northern England, and the West Country during August
Rarity:
Considered a seasonal luxury because harvesting it depends on favourable late-summer weather and moving hives to remote hillsides
